I enjoyed the research part the most. As it made me come up with a great idea for the future. The Instructions were easy to follow, here and there I might have misunderstood, but most were perfectly clear instructions to follow especially for someone that is learning. The tutors were extremely helpful and patient with me during the period of time. I rarely had to ask other information to complete my Assessments.

I loved the PowerPoint / Publisher for allowing technical creativity. The freedom to explore tools in creating colorful and informative documents. Very easy to follow as lots of examples and explanations provided. A vast variety of sources provided with each module. Very pleased.

I have enjoyed how the course was structured. It has been easy to follow the different modules and tasks. This has helped to have an organized plan every month. I just want to add that it is the perfect course for people who working full time. This course gives you the freedom to follow it at your own pace, without pressure or deadline.

I enjoyed mostly working on Business Events, Business meetings, Organizing Business Trips, Producing Business Documents and HR support. I have learned completely different things which gives me good experience, and it makes me feel more confident.

I really enjoyed the course - the tutors are knowledgeable and supportive, and I have found most of the lessons, if not all, extremely useful and relevant to my job. I also like the fact that you can study at your own pace, which works quite well around work and family commitments. I found the lessons easy to follow and the supporting material was very helpful and informative. The materials were high-quality and very informative, often including links for extra reading. The tutors were extremely helpful, friendly and available. In addition, they have a wealth of knowledge on the topic and the lessons did reflect this. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and it has provided me with extremely useful knowledge and tools which I have found myself using daily in my job. I would recommend the course to anyone starting a career as a Secretary/PA, as it gives you a solid foundation in the area, as well as the opportunity to learn a variety of extremely useful skills.

I found the IT sections very helpful especially the modules on Excel, Publisher and Power Point. I had not had much exposure to these programs and therefore it was great to develop my knowledge on them. I also found the two additional textbooks which we worked through very interesting. In particular the sections on Neuro Linguistic Programing. I found this topic very interesting and I hope to re-read these books again, as I think they can be hugely beneficial to developing my management and leadership skills.

Powerpoint, Excel & organising meetings and events – they all provided practical tips that I applied to my role as I went. All tutors were very friendly and helpful along the way.

I enjoyed the units on Microsoft Office as well as the assistance that the tutor provided. Lesson instructions were very easy and if I needed to clarify anything, my tutors were very helpful. With the course I could find a job as office assistant and then I’ve been promoted to Junior Executive Assistant.

All the course was fantastic from the course material, to the lecturers, to the people at the college when phoning and the most important bit was the fact, I felt supported throughout the course and I was never alone. The Lessons were easy to follow and showed you everything that you needed to know from the unit and then to get you ready for the Assessment.

I was pleased with everything from course work, case studies we had to do, tutors and assessments, keep up the excellent work. The way the course work is tailored for this course has given me confidence in my job and I am currently applying what I have learnt.

I did enjoy the whole course. In each module, I have learnt a lot. So happy I have chosen this course. All instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The course materials were provided in the right length, enough to understand the subject, not to get bored while studying and write proper assessment. Sometimes I did further research online to get extra info while completing the assessment e.g. business organizations to show my extra knowledge.

I really enjoyed the Medical Secretary course I took with Lewis College. I loved learning how to understand medical terminology and learn new skills with the audio typing and speed typing units. I also really enjoyed learning more features in MS Word that I never realized were there. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I was made aware of exactly what I needed to do during the assessments. The tutors I had on my course were very supportive and friendly. I received feedback on each piece of my coursework and was able to apply that feedback as I moved on with the course. I would just like to thank Lewis College for the support over the last year. I thoroughly enjoyed studying with you.

This was a fantastic and worthwhile course. The Assessment instructions were easy to navigate and understand. I feel that the knowledge I gained from this course will greatly help me. This course was perfect for me to work around having a full-time job, along with seeing family/friends and having a social life. From studying on this course I was offered my first job as a medical secretary in my local hospital and I completed the medical terminology course with distinction marks.

I honestly don’t think the tutors can do any more for the students, they are exceptional. Lesson instruction were easy to follow, because it explained step by step everything.

Each tutor I came across was very knowledgeable and replied very quickly to any of my questions or concerns. I passed each of my exams first time round so I can only thank the tutors for their expertise for that. Overall, I was very pleased with my course and if I seek further courses in the future I will definitely be returning to Lewis College.

I enjoyed every aspect of the course and I found it very accurate and informative. The instructions were very easy to follow and it represented no challenge to understand them. The course was very well structured and now at the end of it I feel I have enough knowledge to have a fresh new start in Secretary/PA field. The Assessments were very interactive, challenging and fun and I enjoyed them very much! The tutor support was amazing and all the time very supportive. I would like to thank to my tutors/professors for all the support and advice given all throughout the course.

I have just finished studying an NCFE CQ Secretarial Certificate and Speed Keying qualifications with Lewis Secretarial College. I can honestly say this long- distance course has been the best thing I have done. I am so thankful to my tutors Simon and Rebecca for the ongoing support they have given me throughout the course; pushing me to achieve, always being available to answer any queries, being patiente and encouraging me when I didn’t understand, and for being so down to earth and friendly. Having these qualifications on my CV has already opened doors for my future career as I have been successfully appointed in an administrator post, the knowledge and understanding I have gained from this course has helped me to achieve this position. I can’t thank Lewis College enough for helping me on my way to my dream job and the future me.

Diary Management, Internet Web Research, Tables, PIM, Emails, etc. I was understanding these topics more quickly that I kept wanting to do more of the assignments. The examples and lectures were explained such that it was easy to understand.

When I first decided to get a secretarial qualification, I just did a google search. What drew me to Lewis College was the story of how it began. From the moment I sent my first query to now, when I have completed my course, I have always felt very welcome and like part of the family. With a tutor the other side of the phone or email, who is happy to help, and offer kind and encouraging words to pick you up and put you back on the path to success. There were a few times during my course where I thought I would never make it. But thanks to Penny and the wonderful team of tutors, I brushed myself off and carried on. Now that I have qualified, I have mixed emotions. I am thrilled that I have my qualification and can begin to look for new challenges in my career. I am also sad that it is over. If in the future I decide to add to my qualifications, Lewis College will be my number one choice.
